The Salesian Polytechnic University of Ecuador was founded as a humanistic and polytechnic higher education institution inspired by the Christian tradition and the Salesian charism of Saint John Bosco. Its fundamental purpose is the integral formation of individuals, especially young people from popular and marginalized sectors.

Regarding its institutional vision, it presents itself as a leading university, dedicated to the pursuit of truth, the development of culture, and scientific and technological research, with the capacity to respond to contemporary challenges.
